Virtus represents athletes with an intellectual impairment, with significant additional impairment, and athletes with autism.

Individuals with learning disability/specific learning disorder are not eligible.

Individuals with mental health or mental illness are not eligible.

Virtus/Sivus India DO NOT facilitate classification. Classification is a process managed by the respective International Sport Federation.

There is no National Classification. National Eligibility was introduced to enable athletes to participate in National events. Processing time is 2 weeks to 4 weeks.

An athlete application cannot be fast tracked. Athletes are advised to submit the application 12 weeks before any event.

The decision for an athlete application is solely at the discretion of Virtus. Sivus India does not have any authority in the decision.

Sivus India is the Virtus India Member Organisation. It guides athletes in submitting documents required by Virtus and facilitates the eligibility procedure.
